Many noted senator's and Governor's enjoyed their stay at the Historic Hotel San Carlos.

 

One of Arizona's

original U.S. senators since statehood in 1912, would stay in here.

 

Sen.Henry F. Ashurst who stayed for a week and enjoyed splendor of San Carlos in 1938. He was charged a weekly rate of $15 at that time.

One of the hotel's second floor meeting room is named in the honor of Sen.Ashurst, while The Governor's Suite is the one on Opposite side.
