Carole Lombard stayed at the Hotel San Carlos in the mid-1930s, booking an adjoining room with Clark Gable before they were wed in Kingman, Arizona, on March 29, 1939.

 

According to Hotel Employees the couple stayed in the Hotel before she was killed in a DC-3 crash on January 16, 1942, returning from a War Bond rally.
