Mae West Suite

Mae West was a regular Hotel San Carlos guest since 1929. The San Carlos was the top hotel downtown at that time, so she loved to stay there.

The Mae West Suite is made up of period furniture and carefully selected Artwork and Objects d'Art. The bed is just the way she had it in her Los Angeles home.

After one performance, Mae West ordered a bottle of champagne with two glasses, even though she checked in alone, and was registered as a single, and told the front desk clerks at The hotel San Carlos not to disturb her until 3;00 p.m. the following day.

Mae West suite is on the second floor very close to the stairs and elevator for easy deliveries.
